What is Line Up 2?

Line Up 2 is a SketchUp plugin that makes it very quick and easy to align and position objects that are skewed in relation to surfaces and each other.

Main features

Face to face

Connects objects so that their faces lie exactly against each other.

Center to face

Places the center of the object against another surface.

Free face

Free placement against a surface without precise adjustment.

Flip object 180°

Flips an object 180 degrees against a surface (mirror flip).

Rotate freely

Can rotate the object freely after placement.

What is the plugin good for?

This plugin is great for joining objects and being able to control even skewed surfaces and place center-to-center or freely.

How it works

Step 1: Select the object you want to move.

Step 2: Launch the Line Up 2 tool.

Step 3: Click on the target area where you want to place the object.

Step 4: Choose the alignment type you want (face-to-face, center-to-face, or free).

Step 5: Press ESC to exit the tool.
